Here are a few interesting points about our Ranch community:
• Red Cabin Ranch is a private land island, entirely surrounded by public land.
• 41 of 44 lots share a boundary with public land.
• There are two common lakes on the property that are located on a tract of land owned in common by the Homeowners. The combined amount of water in the lakes is estimated at just under 3 million gallons.
• The community lakes are filled by well water. Water samples taken at the time of drilling the wells show quality that has a very, very low TDS count.
• One homeowner constructed a pond that is filled year-round entirely with spring fed water.
• The lakes are stocked each year, and homeowners can enjoy very good catch-and-release fishing.
• In the fall, the property is full of bugling elk. We regularly see a variety of wildlife on the property, a lot of these animals come to the lake for a drink.
Red Cabin Ranch, is a unique place. It is not a typical neighborhood in Show Low or Pinetop where you’ll wake up to the typical bustling sounds of a small town. At the Ranch, we’re just far enough away to have all of the best amenities of the natural, undisturbed wilderness, but close enough to incorporate important benefits of modern living. If you have ever spent time in an undisturbed part of Arizona’s White Mountains and thought to yourself, “I wish I could take a cabin and put it right here,” well, that is what we’ve done. Come take a look.

This was written by Brad Barrett, one of our homeowners. He built a beautiful cabin overlooking the Ranch:
My family and I have been coming to the White Mountains for decades. We always hoped to have a place of our own that we could come to year around. We probably have visited virtually every possible area from Payson to Alpine in search of a family getaway. Once we found the Red Cabin Ranch our search was over. It was the right combination of open space and closeness to city services for our needs. Since we built our cabin we come up all year long. Being an old surfer boy from San Diego I wondered how I would take to becoming a Mountain Man. I now have developed skills in fly fishing, elk tracking, bird and plant identification. Not to mention the hundreds of miles of forest roads that are now very familiar to me and my family. The best part of The Ranch is the families that have bought property in the subdivision. We are a very tight community who thrives on helping each other out whether it be watching each others property to pulling each other out of snow drifts in a pinch. We love everything about Red Cabin Ranch and hope fabulous families are attracted to buy property and build homes in our neighborhood.

Red Cabin Ranch is comprised of 500 acres entirely surrounded by public land. The Ranch is gated, you’ll need the gate code to get in. Once inside the Ranch, you’ll see our stocked 3-acre lake.
